The following units will be included in your certificate:

• Non-Accredited - Complex Bowel Care

• A digital copy will be available to download from your learner dashboard, usually within 24 Hours.

If a hard copy of the certificate is required, it must be requested in Advance. An extra $8 will be added for this. Please note that hard copies can take up to 20 business days to arrive (based on Australia Post). In line with industry standards, it is recommended that this unit be renewed every 3 years.

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

• Refresher/Blended delivery – N/A Beeline Training Academy recommends 12 monthly reassessments of competency and compliance.

• Online Training with Face-to-Face Assessment - 120 minutes (minimum face-to-face assessment

• Students coming to the course requiring industry simulations for NIDS Disability, Aged Care and Education Child Care Setting, environmental assessments will take approximately 60 minutes longer.

• This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at a facility organised by the training provider.

• This course can be delivered at Beeline Training Academy: Training Centre at 16 Banim Street, Aspley Queensland, 4034.

• Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. These are detailed in the following sections.

Current industry standards recommend the following recertification frequency to maintain currency of skills and knowledge:

• Non-Accredited Complex Bowel Care does not require a renewal, although Beeline Training Academy recommends a refresher every 12 months to ensure that your knowledge and skills remain current.

Assessments conducted during face-to-face training session(s) include:

Performance tasks – Administration of a microlax enema and suppository using simulation.

Theory assessment – Written assessment consisting of a case study, multiple-choice and short-answer questions.

This course is delivered and assessed on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909 by Beeline Training Academy.

• Participants are physically able to work effectively with information about the human body and its healthy functioning, manage tasks and manage contingencies in the context of the job role.

• If your work background is from Disabilities, the Aged Care Sector, and Education in a Child Care Setting, you can do work-related simulation.
