Welcome to the Nationally Recognised and Accredited Course in Identifying Children at Risk.
This course covers the performance outcomes, skills, and knowledge required to identify at-risk children and young people and report in accordance with legislative requirements.
This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility.
This unit applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people including in community services and health contexts.

Please note that all case studies within this course are fictional. As a wide variety of job descriptions and workplace environments exist, case studies may not always cover all types of possible scenarios encountered within your job role or scope of work.
However, these case studies should allow you to identify sources of stress and how they manifest in health and/or community services work environment including managing, adjust strategies and recognise when additional resources and/or support is required for :
complex client behaviour (emotional, aggressive, cognitive deficit, non-compliance)
grief and loss experienced by workers
exposure to stressful working conditions and stressful incidents

This certificate does not require renewal.
Once your course is complete you will be emailed your Statement of Attainment.
